Miguel Ángel Pérez

Hi, I am Miguel, a Mexican-American artist. Born and raised in Texas along the border of Mexico, and educated in art in Dallas at the University of Texas at Dallas. I have a passion for all things related to the combination of light, color, and emotion. Being a Lighting and Compositing Artist is my primary passion; bringing happiness or joy to someone through an animated short I worked on, for example, gives my life so much meaning. It allows me to work with so many talented and passionate artists who have vast knowledge. When I work on my own, photography is my medium of choice. With less control of light, I have found that photography has taught me the importance of composition. And, of course, if others enjoy the photos I take, this also brings me much joy. So, with any project I take on, I give my full effort, and I am constantly looking to grow my knowledge to better the impact of the projects I work on.
